The Ministry of Industry and Trade has unveiled a new call for projects as part of its ongoing program to support the establishment of Moroccan clusters in the industrial and technological sectors. This initiative aims to identify and select the best cluster projects, both existing and new, that are eligible for state financial support for the year 2024, according to a ministry statement. Eligible existing clusters are those that have been labeled in previous editions of this call for projects and have received more than eight years of state support, the statement added.

The cluster concept aims to create a governance structure that brings together businesses, start-ups, research institutions, and training centers operating in the industrial and technological sectors. The goal is to foster a common vision that promotes the emergence of collaborative, innovative projects with high added value in research and development.

Project leaders interested in this initiative must complete their application in accordance with the terms of reference for this call for projects. These can be obtained from the Division of Technological Platforms and Clusters at the Ministry of Industry and Trade’s headquarters in the Administrative District of Rabat Chellah, or downloaded from the ministry’s website at “ww.mcinet.gov.ma”.

The deadline for submitting project applications is October 25, 2024, at 3:00 PM.
