Ilham Tahri Joutei, a senior consultant at Timeo, has been appointed as an independent director on the Board of Directors of the Société Royale d’Encouragement du Cheval (SOREC). This appointment is part of broader changes within SOREC, a public company overseen by the Ministry of Agriculture. Tahri Joutei brings over 30 years of professional experience in public organizations operating in competitive sectors such as aviation, logistics, and tourism, as well as in large infrastructure and urban renewal projects.
In addition to her new role at SOREC, she serves as an independent director at INVOLYS and is a senior consultant at Timeo, where she advises investors and entrepreneurs on enhancing the value of their companies by balancing economic performance with social or societal impact.
Her appointment, alongside that of Kawtar Johrati, the former Deputy CEO of Saham’s Finance Division, highlights the positive influence of Law 19-20. This legislation mandates a minimum quota of 30% women on the administrative and supervisory boards of public limited companies, promoting greater gender diversity.
