In response to the severe floods that recently devastated parts of Spain, King Mohammed VI of Morocco directed the Moroccan Minister of the Interior to reach out to his Spanish counterpart to discuss support and assistance. Following the King’s instructions, Morocco expressed its readiness to send rescue teams and provide any necessary aid to help Spain address the impacts of this natural disaster, according to an Interior Ministry statement.

In addition to offering assistance, the Moroccan Interior Minister conveyed Morocco’s heartfelt condolences and solidarity to the Spanish authorities and to the families of those affected. This gesture highlights Morocco’s commitment to supporting its neighbor in times of crisis, reinforcing the close ties between the two nations.
