O Tower and Hilton have officially signed a management agreement for the highly anticipated Hotel de la Tour Mohammed VI, which will operate under the prestigious Waldorf Astoria brand.

Set to open its doors in 2025, the Waldorf Astoria Rabat-Salé will occupy the 29th to the 46th floors of the iconic Mohammed VI Tower. This addition to Morocco’s capital will elevate the region’s hospitality offerings with a luxurious and innovative experience, marking a significant milestone in the nation’s tourism development.

Standing at a height of 250 meters, the Mohammed VI Tower is the tallest structure in Morocco and a centerpiece of the Bouregreg Valley Development Project. It is a key element of the “Rabat Ville Lumière, Capitale Marocaine de la Culture” initiative, which aims to enhance Rabat’s cultural and architectural heritage.

With breathtaking views of Rabat, Salé, and the Atlantic Ocean, the tower is designed to be a beacon of progress and innovation. The Waldorf Astoria hotel within it promises to be a haven of luxury, featuring 55 keys, including 11 rooms and 44 suites. Amenities will include a wellness center, a grand ballroom, a business lounge, and four world-class restaurants, all tailored to meet the expectations of discerning guests seeking exceptional service, refined hospitality, and a unique ambiance.

Othman Benjelloun, the visionary behind the Mohammed VI Tower, expressed his pride in collaborating with Waldorf Astoria:
“I am delighted to associate the Waldorf Astoria brand with our iconic Mohammed VI Tower. The hotel will undoubtedly become one of the jewels of luxury hospitality in Morocco, Africa, and beyond. This agreement reflects our unwavering commitment to making the Mohammed VI Tower a driver of regional development and a showcase for Moroccan craftsmanship on the global stage.”

Daniel Wakeling, Hilton’s Vice President for Luxury Development in Europe and Africa, echoed this sentiment:
“We are thrilled to announce the Waldorf Astoria Rabat-Salé alongside our partners at O Tower. As part of the iconic Mohammed VI Tower, this visionary mixed-use project represents a beacon of opportunity for Morocco and the entire African continent. The hotel will bring the unmatched service and timeless elegance of the Waldorf Astoria brand to Morocco’s capital. With the country aiming to welcome 26 million tourists by 2030, we see tremendous potential to expand our footprint in Morocco and introduce new brands. Collaborating with O Tower, we are excited to offer Rabat visitors a uniquely Moroccan take on Waldorf Astoria hospitality.”

The Waldorf Astoria Rabat-Salé is poised to redefine luxury travel in Morocco, blending world-class sophistication with the country’s rich cultural heritage. Its strategic location in the Mohammed VI Tower ensures it will be both a symbol of modern innovation and a tribute to traditional Moroccan artistry.

As Morocco continues its ambitious push to become a premier global destination, projects like the Waldorf Astoria Rabat-Salé will play a pivotal role in driving growth and showcasing the nation’s capacity to offer unparalleled luxury experiences.
