Cement deliveries in Morocco reached an impressive 13.7 million tons by the end of December 2024, marking a 9.45% increase compared to the same period in 2023. These figures, released by the Ministry of National Planning, Urban Development, Housing, and City Policy, reflect a thriving construction sector and robust demand across various segments.

In terms of distribution, cement deliveries destined for retail outlets led the way with 7.88 million tons. They were followed by deliveries for ready-mix concrete (3.05 million tons), precast concrete (1.33 million tons), building construction (446,063 tons), infrastructure projects (909,027 tons), and mortars (69,146 tons).

These statistics, compiled in the ministry’s monthly report on cement delivery trends, are based on data provided by the Professional Association of Cement Manufacturers (APC). The APC includes key industry players such as Asment Temara, Ciments de l’Atlas, Ciments du Maroc, LafargeHolcim Maroc, and Novacim, which joined the association in January 2024.

The strong performance in cement deliveries underscores the sustained growth of Morocco’s construction and infrastructure sectors, reflecting increased investment and ongoing development projects nationwide.
