Bugshan Morocco Holding, a major player in sectors such as automotive, is embarking on an ambitious new project: the construction of a high-profile hotel complex on Casablanca’s iconic Ain Diab Corniche. This venture is part of a larger movement to revitalize and modernize this vibrant coastal area, underscoring the group’s commitment to elevating Morocco’s economic capital ahead of key strategic milestones for the country.

With a breathtaking location overlooking the Atlantic Ocean, the project is designed to enhance Casablanca’s appeal as a premier destination for both business and leisure travelers. The upcoming hotel, slated to open by the end of 2026, will be a 4-star establishment featuring 127 rooms and suites. It promises a blend of comfort, modernity, and refined elegance. Construction began in December 2023.

In a significant development, Bugshan Morocco has signed a management contract with Marriott International, Inc., marking the introduction of the AC by Marriott brand to Casablanca. This collaboration guarantees high standards of quality and service, ensuring that the hotel aligns with global benchmarks of excellence.

The project represents an investment of 300 million dirhams (approximately $30 million) and is expected to create around 100 direct and indirect jobs, providing a significant boost to the local economy. The architectural design has been entrusted to Archguess, an acclaimed firm that is crafting a contemporary, environmentally conscious, and seamlessly integrated space.

Beyond being an addition to the city’s skyline, this initiative reflects Bugshan Morocco’s vision to contribute meaningfully to Casablanca’s growth. By addressing the needs of international visitors and local businesses alike, the hotel complex is set to play a key role in promoting the city as a hub of quality hospitality and innovation.

The new hotel aligns perfectly with Morocco’s Vision 2030, a strategic roadmap aimed at revitalizing the tourism sector and developing modern infrastructure to meet the expectations of global travelers. By fostering investments and creating sustainable opportunities, the project will enhance Casablanca’s international reputation and contribute to the broader goals of the Kingdom’s development strategy.

The management agreement was signed by Nasser Obada, Managing Director of Bugshan Morocco, and Karim Ouaziz, Marriott International’s Director of Development for North Africa.

With this landmark project, Bugshan Morocco is not only reshaping Casablanca’s famed Corniche but also reaffirming its role as a key contributor to Morocco’s economic and tourism ambitions.
