L’École Centrale Casablanca recently marked a major milestone by hosting the graduation ceremony for its 7th cohort. Held on the institution’s campus, the event brought together students, faculty, families, and industry partners, with Ryad Mezzour, Morocco’s Minister of Industry and Trade, in attendance.
This year, 111 graduates received their diplomas, symbolizing years of academic excellence and dedication. The Class of 2025 stood out for its remarkable diversity—one of the school’s core values.
A significant highlight of this year’s graduation was the increasing presence of women in engineering, with 37% of graduates being female. This reflects the school’s commitment to fostering inclusivity and equal opportunities in STEM fields.
Centrale Casablanca continues to attract talent from around the world. 30% of this year’s graduates come from international backgrounds, representing over 14 nationalities. This global dimension enhances the school’s multidisciplinary and cross-cultural approach to engineering education.
During his speech, Jalal Charaf, Director General of École Centrale Casablanca, emphasized the significance of this diversity: “This graduating class perfectly embodies our school’s DNA—an education rooted in excellence, enriched by the variety of backgrounds and cultures. Our graduates are equipped to tackle the challenges of tomorrow and contribute, through their talent and dedication, to building a more innovative and sustainable future.”
Since its establishment, École Centrale Casablanca has earned a reputation as a leading institution for training highly skilled engineers. The school was founded through a strategic partnership between France and Morocco, formalized in 2013 in the presence of King Mohammed VI and then-French President François Hollande.
As part of the prestigious Centrale network, the school offers its graduates international recognition and strong professional opportunities. Its multidisciplinary, forward-thinking approach equips students with the skills to address the major technological and economic challenges of the 21st century.
For these newly minted engineers, graduation marks the beginning of exciting careers in key strategic sectors. Thanks to their rigorous training, scientific curiosity, and spirit of innovation, they are poised to become key players in technological and economic development—both in Morocco and on a global scale.
With this latest graduation ceremony, École Centrale Casablanca reaffirms its mission: to shape visionary leaders capable of anticipating and solving the complex challenges of a rapidly evolving world.
