Accor has posted impressive financial results for the first half of 2024, with revenue rising by 11% to reach 2.677 billion euros. This growth has been driven by the group’s ongoing expansion, which saw the opening of 146 new hotels, adding 24,000 rooms to its extensive portfolio of 838,722 rooms across 5,682 hotels.
The hotel group also reported a significant increase in its EBITDA (Earnings Before Interest, Taxes, Depreciation, and Amortization), which grew by 13% to 504 million euros. This robust financial performance is further reflected in the earnings per share (EPS), which rose by 11% to 0.90 euros.
Strong demand across all regions contributed to an overall increase in revenue per available room (RevPAR) by 6%. The Luxury & Lifestyle division particularly excelled, with an 8% increase in RevPAR, while the Premium, Midscale, and Economy division saw a solid growth of 4%.
