Moroccan property developer Groupe Addoha has bought a key piece of land in Abidjan and says it has secured more than 10bn dirhams in sales from projects underway in Morocco and West Africa.
The company signed the deal on 13 February 2026. The land is in Zone 4, a busy business area in Abidjan. Addoha plans to build a large mixed-use project there. It will include a shopping mall, office space and four high-end 20-storey apartment towers called “Les Tours Éléphants”.
The project will cover more than 150,000 square metres. Addoha expects it to bring in more than 3bn dirhams in sales and says profits should be strong.
Zone 4 is one of the main business areas in Abidjan, with strong demand for shops, offices and high-end homes. Addoha says the deal is an important step in its growth plan in West Africa, including Côte d’Ivoire, Senegal and Guinea, and in Central Africa, such as Gabon and Cameroon.
The company is also expanding in Morocco. It has approved a new housing project called Blanca City Park in Casablanca, on the southwest ring road of Dar Bouazza. The project will focus on high-end homes and could generate around 12bn dirhams in sales.
Addoha has also won contracts to build more than 5,000 social housing units in Casablanca, Rabat and Marrakech. These projects are expected to bring in about 1.2bn dirhams.
The group says it is currently building more than 23,000 homes in Morocco and West Africa. These projects represent more than 10bn dirhams in secured sales, giving the company clear visibility for the coming years.
Addoha expects both sales and profits to rise strongly from 2025, helped by new projects and a stronger focus on higher-value homes.
