Launched on Thursday, January 9, with support from the Oriental region, this new route marks a significant step in enhancing regional connectivity. The inaugural ceremony, held at Oujda-Angad Airport, was graced by notable figures, including Khatib El Hebil, Wali of the Oriental region and Governor of Oujda-Angad Prefecture, Mohamed Bouarourou, President of the Oriental Regional Council, and Leila Mechbal, Director General of Air Arabia Maroc.
The event featured a traditional water cannon salute upon the arrival of the first flight to Oujda, symbolizing the importance of this route for travelers and the economic stakeholders of both regions.
