AKDITAL Group officially inaugurated the Ibn Nafis International Hospital in Marrakech on Monday, June 24, 2024. The ceremony was attended by Farid Chourak, Wali of the Marrakech-Safi region, Dr. Rochdi Talib, CEO of AKDITAL, and Dr. Jaouad Zakaria, Vice President of AKDITAL.
Located in the vibrant city of Marrakech, the Ibn Nafis International Hospital boasts a modern healthcare infrastructure with 100 inpatient beds. The hospital specializes in oncology, offering advanced treatments such as chemotherapy, targeted therapy, immunotherapy, radiotherapy, and brachytherapy. Additionally, the hospital features centers of excellence in hematology, bone marrow transplantation, cancer surgery, radiology, nuclear medicine, breast health, endoscopy, and biology.
The opening of Ibn Nafis International Hospital has created 194 jobs, including 155 positions in the paramedical field, contributing significantly to the local economy. This inauguration is AKDITAL’s second in 2024, following the opening of the International Clinic of Khouribga. Future openings are planned for Essaouira, Tétouan, Errachidia, Benguerir, Dakhla, Taroudant, Kénitra, Meknès, and Rabat.
The hospital is equipped with cutting-edge technology, including two advanced radiotherapy machines (Halcyon and EDGE), 41 chemotherapy chairs, eight intensive care units, and six ultra-modern operating rooms. These high-tech facilities enable the medical team to deliver top-quality care, focusing on comprehensive and personalized treatment for cancer patients. The oncology department utilizes the latest technologies to offer effective, individualized treatments.
