The ceremony was graced by André Azoulay, advisor to King Mohammed VI, and Dr. Rochdi Talib, CEO of the Akdital Group. This cutting-edge medical facility represents an investment of 256 million dirhams and boasts 166 hospitalization beds.

The multidisciplinary clinic, built to international standards, has created 194 jobs, including 129 paramedical positions, further supporting Morocco’s healthcare sector enhancement. The Akdital Group continues its strategy of territorial deployment, aiming to provide high-quality healthcare services throughout the country.

The Mogador International Clinic offers a broad range of medical and surgical specialties, equipped with the latest technology to treat a variety of conditions, from simple to complex. This facility allows residents of Essaouira to access advanced medical care locally, eliminating the need for travel to larger cities.

The clinic includes eight state-of-the-art operating rooms, a reanimation unit with 12 beds for polyvalent and cardiovascular reanimation, and six neonatal reanimation incubators. Additionally, it features an intensive care unit and an advanced interventional cardiology unit, complete with a catheterization lab and stress test room.

The clinic is equipped with an endoscopy unit and a technical delivery unit, ensuring high-quality care and an optimal patient experience. It also houses a maternity service and a nursery. The integrated oncology center, dedicated to cancer diagnosis and treatment, includes a day hospital for chemotherapy and a radiotherapy unit with a state-of-the-art linear accelerator and dosimetric scanner, reinforcing the clinic’s commitment to excellence in cancer care.

Open 24/7, the clinic’s emergency service is staffed with emergency and intensive care physicians to handle critical cases promptly. The facility also includes a comprehensive medical laboratory and a full radiology center, featuring MRI, CT scan, standard X-ray, ultrasound, and mammography services, streamlining patient diagnostics and care.

With this new clinic, the Akdital Group now offers 2,698 beds across 24 facilities in 12 cities, employing over 4,752 staff. Since December 14, 2022, the Akdital Group has been listed on the Casablanca Stock Exchange under the ticker AKT, marking the healthcare sector’s debut in the financial market.

Eighteen months after its IPO, Akdital is embarking on a new public fundraising initiative, aiming to raise 1 billion dirhams on the Casablanca Stock Exchange. This substantial financing effort supports an ambitious investment program of approximately 3 billion dirhams by 2026, with analysts, including BKGR, recommending subscription.
