
Hilton has appointed Alessandro Redaelli as Vice President of Operations for North Africa and the Levant. Based in Cairo, he will oversee 35 hotels while spearheading the launch of nearly 50 new properties across the region. His appointment comes at a pivotal moment as Hilton continues its expansion into these fast-growing markets.
Bringing more than three decades of experience in the hospitality industry, Redaelli has held several leadership roles across Europe and the Middle East. Prior to this new position, he served as the General Manager of Conrad Abu Dhabi Etihad Towers. Expressing his enthusiasm, he described the opportunity to join Hilton at such a strategic time as an honor and looks forward to driving excellence alongside local teams.
Hilton is ramping up its growth in Egypt with the introduction of its Curio Collection by Hilton and Tapestry Collection by Hilton brands. In Morocco, the company plans to double its footprint with the debut of Waldorf Astoria Rabat, alongside new openings under the LXR Hotels & Resorts and Hampton by Hilton banners. Meanwhile, in Jordan, Hilton recently launched Signia by Hilton Amman, marking the brand’s entry into the EMEA luxury market.
Overseeing Hilton’s expansion in North Africa and the Levant are Carlos Khneisser, Vice President of Development for the Middle East and Africa, and Sam Diab, Managing Director of Development for North and East Africa. With a clear growth strategy and Redaelli’s appointment, Hilton is strengthening its position in the region and advancing its ambitious development plans.
