ALH Holding is set to buy all the shares and voting rights in Jasmin Morocco Hospitality from H Partners. The deal will give ALH Holding full control of the company, which owns the Be Live Experience Hotel in Marrakech. The four-star hotel has 167 rooms. Jasmin Morocco Hospitality also works on the development, purchase and management of hotel assets.
ALH Holding is based in Casablanca. The group operates in agriculture, real estate, hospitality and education. It also has businesses in Côte d’Ivoire and Senegal.
H Partners, a Moroccan hospitality investment fund, currently owns Jasmin Morocco Hospitality. The sale will allow H Partners to exit the investment.
The deal comes as the tourism industry prepares for more visitors and new hotel capacity. Marrakech is one of the main markets for hotel investment.
The acquisition will also need to go through merger-control procedures with the Competition Council if the transaction meets the relevant thresholds.
The Be Live Experience Hotel operates under the Be Live brand, which is linked to Spain’s Globalia hotel business.
