Moroccan real estate developer Alliances Group will take part in the SMAPIMMO Brussels later this month as it seeks to attract more buyers from the Moroccan diaspora in Europe.
The property fair, focused on Moroccan real estate, will run from 27 to 29 March at Brussels Expo.
Alliances says it will present several housing projects in different Moroccan cities to Moroccans living in Belgium and neighbouring countries. The company aims to make it easier for overseas investors to learn about property opportunities in Morocco.
During the three-day event, visitors will be able to discover the group’s residential and tourism developments and speak directly with its sales teams about purchase procedures, financing options and project details.
The SMAPIMMO event is one of the main gatherings promoting Moroccan property to Moroccans living abroad. Developers, banks and industry specialists attend each year, meeting thousands of visitors interested in buying or investing in property in Morocco.
Alliances’ presence in Brussels is part of a wider effort to strengthen links with the diaspora. Belgium is home to a large Moroccan community and is seen as an important market for developers seeking international buyers.
The company is attending the fair at a time of strong financial results. By the end of 2025, the group reported cumulative revenue of 8.4bn dirhams, exceeding its targets for the year. Net debt also fell by 24%, giving the developer greater capacity to launch new projects.
Demand from overseas buyers is also supported by Morocco’s housing subsidy scheme Daam Sakane.
The programme offers up to 100,000 dirhams for homes priced below 300,000 dirhams and 70,000 dirhams for properties costing between 300,000 and 700,000 dirhams.
In 2026 the rules were tightened to encourage long-term occupancy. Buyers must now keep and live in the property for at least five years before selling it, or repay the full subsidy. Moroccans living abroad account for about 25% of beneficiaries.
The wider property market has shown modest growth at the start of the year. National prices rose by about 0.6%, while some cities recorded stronger activity.
Property transactions increased by 24% in Marrakech and 15% in Rabat at the end of 2025.
Meanwhile Tangier has attracted investor interest, with gross rental yields estimated between 7% and 9%.
Alliances also says its customer service reputation remains a selling point. In 2026, the group received the “Customer Service of the Year” award in Morocco for its subsidiaries Darna, Résidences and Créations.
