The Competition Council has approved Aradei Capital’s acquisition of full control over Akdital Immo, following the announcement of a merger between the two companies in June. Aradei Capital, which has held a majority stake in Akdital Immo (51%) since January 2022, will now buy the remaining shares from Akdital (31.85%) and BFO Foncière (17.15%) in a deal valued at 268 million dirhams.
According to Rochdi Talib, CEO of Akdital, the decision to exit Akdital Immo’s ownership aligns with the company’s strategy to focus on its core business—managing healthcare facilities. This acquisition strengthens Aradei Capital’s position in Morocco’s healthcare real estate sector. Akdital Immo boasts a significant portfolio, with over 80,000 square meters of rental space and an estimated value of nearly 900 million dirhams.
For Akdital, the sale supports its refocusing on healthcare operations, while Aradei Capital benefits from expanding its influence in the healthcare real estate market. This transaction highlights the growing attractiveness of Morocco’s healthcare sector, marking a significant milestone for both companies.
