Arrabet Holding has appointed Badr Bougrine as Managing Director of its Data and Artificial Intelligence company, The Frontline Unit. He replaces Zouhair Jamal Bennis, who left the company on 13 July. Arrabet Holding thanked him for helping build the business in its early years.
Bougrine has nearly 20 years of experience in strategy, digital transformation and artificial intelligence. He joins The Frontline Unit after serving as a partner at a consulting firm in Paris, where he led financial services work across Morocco and French-speaking Africa.
He has worked with banks, industrial companies and public sector organisations on large AI projects. His expertise includes agentic AI and AI value management.
The company said Bougrine will lead the expansion of its data and AI consulting services. He will also oversee the growth of AISCAPADE, the group’s sovereign AI laboratory, and the rollout of sovereign AI solutions built for local markets.
Mohamed Benboubker, Co-Chief Executive of Arrabet Holding, said the appointment supports the group’s plans to grow across Europe and Africa. “Our goal is to position The Frontline Unit as the leading Data and AI reference across the Europe Africa corridor, backed by a strong focus on sovereign AI through our dedicated laboratory, AISCAPADE. Badr’s unique background, combining international consulting standards with deep local expertise, is precisely what this vision demands.”
Bougrine said his priority is to deliver results for customers. “The Frontline Unit possesses a rare set of assets, including a high-calibre team, a highly differentiated sovereign AI positioning, and the backing of an integrated group. My primary focus is execution, ensuring we turn this incredible potential into measurable impact for our clients in Morocco and throughout the continent.”
