Art meets environment: Attijariwafa Bank unveils ‘ImagineTaVille’ competition

The Attijariwafa Bank Foundation has officially launched the second edition of its national visual arts competition, ImagineTaVille. Centered on the theme of environmental awareness, this initiative is designed to inspire artists and visual art enthusiasts from across Morocco. The goal is simple yet ambitious: to spark creativity and dialogue around pressing ecological issues such as climate change, water conservation, and sustainable development.

This contest builds on the Foundation’s ongoing commitment to promoting contemporary art in Morocco. Participants are encouraged to bring their artistic vision to life using a wide array of mediums. From traditional painting and sculpture to more modern approaches like photography, video, animation, and even augmented reality, the competition offers a platform for diverse artistic expression. Interested artists have until March 15, 2025, to submit their entries.

The competition will be judged by a distinguished panel of experts and renowned artists. They will select four winners, who will receive a rare opportunity to showcase their work in the prestigious Actua Art Space of the Foundation in Casablanca. Their creations will be on display for two months, providing significant visibility to these emerging talents.

Throughout the competition, the Foundation will roll out a series of educational initiatives via its social media platforms. Expect to see insightful videos, interviews with established artists, and conversations with art professionals—all designed to motivate and guide participants in their creative journey.

Artists from all regions of Morocco are encouraged to take part in this creative challenge and stay updated on contest developments through the Foundation’s official website. By merging art with environmental advocacy, ImagineTaVille aims to foster awareness of key ecological issues while unearthing new talent within Morocco’s vibrant cultural scene.
