BANK OF AFRICA is rolling out its annual summer initiative aimed at Moroccans living abroad, under its “Moroccan Citizens of the World” (MCM) program. For the 2025 edition, the bank is putting a stronger emphasis on proximity, digital tools, and all-around personalized support to meet the evolving needs of overseas Moroccans returning home for the holidays.
This year’s campaign spans several areas. Starting with on-the-ground support, dedicated teams are being deployed at key travel hubs—including airports, seaports, and high-traffic transit points—offering tailor-made services and welcoming spaces designed to assist MCM clients from the moment they leave their country of residence to their stay in Morocco and eventual return.
Digital engagement is also a major focus. Through the bank’s “Agence Directe” platform, customers can now open accounts anytime, day or night, and speak with advisors online. The bank is also promoting its digital banking app “BMCE Direct” and the “Daba Transfer” service, which allows free money transfers from abroad. Customer support is available in seven languages to ensure no one is left behind.
In terms of financial products, the bank is offering a range of summer perks. These include complimentary premium services under the “Pack First” bundle, waived fees on banking cards and home loans, favorable exchange rates, and cashback rewards on foreign currency payments. A major lottery will also be held, giving 100 lucky participants the chance to win airline tickets to attend games played by Morocco’s national football team, the Atlas Lions.
To maintain a physical presence and stay close to its clients, BANK OF AFRICA is conducting a real estate roadshow across 18 Moroccan cities. The bank is also backing cultural activities, including the “MCM Music Show” and live radio studio broadcasts aboard passenger ships crossing to Morocco.
Finally, the summer program includes business seminars and networking events for MCM entrepreneurs and investors. These gatherings connect participants with regional stakeholders and industry experts, with the goal of encouraging investment in Morocco. Attendees will also receive guidance on how to access funding opportunities, particularly through the MDM Invest fund.
