Inwi and Mohammed VI Polytechnic University (UM6P) have announced a groundbreaking collaboration during the 2nd edition of GITEX AFRICA in Marrakech. This new agreement marks a significant milestone in the partnership between Inwi and UM6P, creating new synergies between the private sector and academia to promote innovative entrepreneurship and support promising digital startups.
Through this collaboration, Inwi and UM6P aim to combine their expertise and resources to foster an ecosystem conducive to innovation and the growth of young digital enterprises. The agreement focuses on developing a support and acceleration program for startup projects that win the inwiDays Awards competition. This program is designed to identify, engage, and support entrepreneurial talents and innovative projects across several key areas, including Sportech, customer experience, Fintech, Retailtech, and artificial intelligence.
This initiative also aspires to establish a national center of excellence in the support and acceleration of promising startups. By leveraging the strengths of both Inwi and UM6P, the partnership seeks to create significant opportunities for digital startups and contribute to the dynamism of Morocco’s entrepreneurial ecosystem.
As part of this agreement, the 12th edition of inwiDays, a flagship event for entrepreneurship and innovation, will be held this year at the UM6P campus in Benguerir on June 25, 2024. This event will bring together entrepreneurs, experts, and key players in the entrepreneurial ecosystem to exchange and share innovative ideas, focusing on the theme of “Sportech.”
