A brand-new Carrefour hypermarket has officially opened its doors in Zenata, on the eastern outskirts of Casablanca-marking a significant milestone in the area’s rapid transformation. As Zenata evolves into a modern urban hub, this opening addresses a growing demand for accessible, high-quality services tailored to the needs of its expanding population.
Covering 4,200 square meters of retail space and equipped with a 234-space parking lot, the store is designed to offer a seamless and customer-focused shopping experience. At the heart of the hypermarket is a fresh market zone, featuring daily restocked fruit and vegetable stands, a full-service fish counter, a butcher’s section, and an in-house bakery and pastry shop that runs all day to ensure freshness.

Beyond groceries, Carrefour has dedicated substantial floor space to non-food items, including home appliances, clothing, household goods, and decorative products. The goal is clear: to cater to a wide range of shoppers by combining a broad product selection with affordable pricing and frequent promotional offers.

The arrival of the hypermarket has already made an economic impact, creating over 400 direct and indirect jobs. More than just a new retail location, Carrefour’s presence is intended to be a long-term investment in the community. By establishing a solid commercial backbone, the retailer aims to support the development of a vibrant, well-structured local economy in Zenata.
