The 2025 edition of the International e-Health Forum (IeHF25) was officially presented on November 17 at the headquarters of the Mohammed VI Foundation for Science and Health in Rabat. Held under the High Patronage of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, the third edition of this flagship event will take place from November 25 to 27 on the Anfa City campus of the Mohammed VI University of Health Sciences (UM6SS) in Casablanca.
Organized in partnership with the Center for Innovation in e-Health (CIeS), the forum is shaping up to be a major showcase of digital transformation in healthcare. Over the course of three days, Casablanca will become a focal point for key players in the global and African digital health ecosystem. Themed “From Vision to Impact: Advancing Digital Health for All,” the event will bring together researchers, healthcare professionals, startups, investors, and public sector leaders to exchange ideas and chart a path forward for tech-driven healthcare systems.
The event has received the backing of Morocco’s Ministry of Health, the Ministry of Digital Transition, and the Ministry of Higher Education—reinforcing its institutional weight and its alignment with national digital and health strategies.
The program features a packed schedule of conferences, roundtables, live demonstrations, and expert-led masterclasses. Discussions will focus on high-impact topics such as the application of artificial intelligence in medicine, healthcare data cybersecurity, smart medical devices, and the interoperability of digital health systems. A key innovation this year is the first-ever African Connectathon, co-organized with IHE Catalyst and HIMSS, which will simulate real-world conditions to test and validate digital system integrations.
One of the headline events will be an international Hackathon in partnership with ICESCO, drawing participants from over 50 countries. In parallel, a global Call for Startups attracted 85 emerging companies from 30 different nations, reflecting the event’s growing international profile.
Another highlight of IeHF25 will be a dedicated space for Sport HealthTech—an emerging sector that explores how technology can enhance athletic performance and support preventive health in sports. This area will spotlight innovations bridging healthcare and high-performance environments, offering a forward-thinking view of how digital tools are reshaping physical wellbeing.
Following the success of its previous edition, which drew more than 6,000 attendees, IeHF is now considered a leading platform for digital health innovation across the continent. With this third edition, Casablanca reinforces its status as a regional tech and innovation hub—positioned at the crossroads of healthcare, science, and the digital revolution.
