Casablanca races ahead with WeCasablanca International Challenge 2025

Casablanca is gearing up for a major celebration of sports with the launch of the WeCasablanca International Challenge 2025. The highlight of the event will be a certified 10K race set for September 28, expected to draw around 15,000 runners—from seasoned athletes to casual joggers. The race route will begin at the iconic Twin Center and weave its way through some of the city’s most recognizable avenues, including Anfa Boulevard, My Youssef, Sidi Mohamed Ben Abdellah, and the scenic Corniche.

In the days leading up to the race, the city will come alive with a vibrant sports village taking over Place Rachidi in the heart of Casablanca. Running from September 17 to 27, the village will offer a wide range of free activities open to everyone. Visitors can expect everything from wellness workshops and educational sessions to open-air sports demonstrations, live artistic performances, and booths featuring local institutions and sponsors. The space is designed to be more than just an event—it’s meant to foster community spirit and create a festive, inclusive atmosphere.

Organized by the city of Casablanca in partnership with Casablanca Events & Animation, the initiative aims to cement the city’s place as a key player in the African urban sports scene. As summer gives way to fall, Casablanca is setting the tone for an energetic and community-focused September.
