The Casablanca Stock Exchange will soon launch a new website and mobile app to make it easier for people to follow the stock market. The mobile app will be available on the Apple App Store and Google Play from August 6.
The new website and app bring all of the exchange’s markets and services into one place. Users can access the cash market, futures market, stock market data, and services from SGMAT and CCP Maroc.
The redesign is based on feedback from investors, listed companies, brokers, regulators and media. Focus groups, workshops and user testing helped shape the final product.
Users will see content that matches their profile, making it easier to find what they need. The website also has a simpler layout, with key information available in one click.
The platform is available in French, Arabic and English. It works on mobile phones, tablets and computers.
The mobile app gives users live access to stock prices, market indices, watchlists and data from all markets. Users can follow the MASI, MASI 20, MASI ESG and MASI Mid and Small Cap indices. They can also check listed companies, trading volumes and the market’s total capitalisation.
The website and app were built with security built into the design. Penetration tests, architecture checks and code reviews were carried out to help protect user data.
