Casablanca’s Mohammed V airport is ranking among the world’s top 5 “most improved airports”, according to the 2022 World Airport Awards ranking, established by the international air transport rating organization “Skytrax”.
The World’s Most Improved Airport ranking reflects an airport’s Quality improvement across the whole Airport Awards program. This analyses an airport’s change within the global rating, and the airport performance improvements in many of the award categories to identify the Most Improved airports over the last 12 months, according to the UK-based consultancy which runs an airline and airport review and ranking site.
“This performance is the result of the daily work of our operational teams and all our partners to best serve our customers, passengers and airlines,” Abdelhak Mazour, director of Casablanca Mohammed V airport told MAP.
“We make the improvement of the reception and the quality of service as well as the concern for health a top priority. This customer-focused mindset is reflected in everything we do on a daily basis: from adopting the Lean Sigma approach to make the passenger flow smoother, to modernizing equipment and furnishings to improve comfort and facilitate orientation within the airport, to making our teams available to inform and assist passengers,” he explained.
“We will continue to redouble our efforts on a daily basis to continuously improve the quality of service, hospitality and the general atmosphere in our terminals,” Mazour added.
King Khalid International Airport, Riyadh was named as the World’s Most Improved Airport 2022, followed by LaGuardia Airport, New York, ranked 2nd, Dammam International Airport in 3rd place, and the Seattle-Tacoma Airport (USA) in fourth place.
The Skytrax World Airport Awards are the most prestigious awards for the airport industry. They are awarded through the world’s largest annual airport customer satisfaction survey.
