Baker Tilly Maroc has proudly announced that its founder, Chakib Zaari, has been appointed as the Regional President for the Middle East and Africa (MEA) by the Baker Tilly International Board. This appointment takes effect immediately, marking a significant milestone in Zaari’s career as he also joins the global board of Baker Tilly International.
In his new role, Zaari will collaborate closely with Gagik Gyulbudaghyan, the Regional Director for Baker Tilly MEA, to accelerate international business growth and enhance the firm’s services and capabilities across the region.
Since establishing Baker Tilly in Morocco, Zaari has played a pivotal role in the firm’s rapid expansion and seamless integration within the global Baker Tilly network. Under his leadership, the company has broadened its expertise to include a wide range of services, such as investment banking, corporate social responsibility, and digital transformation.
Zaari’s impressive credentials include a degree from ESC Rouen, certification as a French Chartered Accountant, and an MBA from the University of Ottawa. He is widely recognized for his unwavering commitment to delivering top-tier services and fostering strong partnerships with member firms throughout the MEA market.
