The Safari Group subsidiary has announced plans to introduce BAIC, the prominent Chinese automobile brand, to the Moroccan market.

Morocco continues to attract growing interest from Chinese automotive manufacturers. The latest arrival, BAIC (Beijing Automotive Industry Holding Co., Ltd.), is entering the scene through an exclusive import and distribution agreement with Comicom. Known for its high-quality mobility solutions that integrate cutting-edge technologies, BAIC has a presence in over 110 countries and ranks among the top five Chinese car manufacturers. Its reputation is built on avant-garde design, innovative features, and advanced technologies, including autonomous driving systems, intelligent safety features, and efficient powertrains.

Since its establishment in 1958, BAIC has become synonymous with quality and reliability. The brand has surpassed 30 million units in global production and holds the distinction of being the first Chinese automaker to produce a 4×4 model. Today, BAIC offers a versatile lineup of vehicles powered by internal combustion engines, hybrid systems, and electric technologies, ensuring performance, comfort, and adaptability to diverse driver needs.

The launch of BAIC vehicles in Morocco is scheduled for the second quarter of 2025. Comicom plans to roll out a diverse range of sedans and SUVs, emphasizing competitive pricing and modern, appealing designs. Special attention will be given to detail and high-quality finishes, aligning with the expectations of Moroccan consumers.

This strategic partnership not only expands Comicom’s portfolio but also strengthens Morocco’s position as a growing hub for global automotive brands.
