Ecuador advanced to the Copa America quarterfinals after securing a 1-1 draw against Brazil on Sunday at the Estadio Olimpico Pedro Ludovico.
Brazil’s Eder Militao scored the opener in the first half, while Ecuador’s Angel Mena netted equalizer.
In another Group B game, Peru defeated Venezuela 1-0.
Ahead of Venezuela, Ecuador came in fourth place with three points. Brazil collected 10 points to top Group B.
Colombia and Peru also moved to quarterfinals.
