Coronavirus: Vaccination in Moroccan Prisons Reaches 92%

About 92% of Morocco’s inmates have been vaccinated against COVID-19, the General Delegation for Prison Administration and Reintegration (DGAPR) said on Wednesday.

The vaccination campaign is underway to inoculate other unvaccinated inmates, DGAPR pointed out in a statement.

As part of the national COVID-19 vaccination campaign, the DGAPR holds permanent coordination with health and administrative authorities and mobilizes all its staff to extend this campaign to all inmates, the statement said.

In addition, the injection of a third dose will begin very soon in prisons to ensure optimal protection to all inmates, the statement concluded.
