Every student at the French International School of Casablanca (EFI Casablanca) passed the 2026 French Baccalaureate, with all of them also receiving honours. The school said 75% of students earned either a Bien or Très Bien distinction. It also announced the launch of its Alumni Association, which will hold its first meeting on 11 July.
The new association was created by graduates from the school’s first classes since 2023. It aims to keep former students connected and help current pupils through mentoring, career advice and sharing university experiences.
EFI Casablanca said many of its former students are now studying at leading universities in Morocco, Europe and North America. The school hopes they will help current students make informed choices about university and future careers.
The first alumni meeting will also appoint the association’s founding committee. Members include students at the École Polytechnique, the London School of Economics and Political Science, McGill University, ESCP Business School, Maastricht University, as well as students studying medicine and psychology in Casablanca.
The founding board includes Reda Cheddadi of McGill University, Ismail Bensouda of École Polytechnique, Lina Bensouda of the London School of Economics, Rayan Benmlih of ESCP Business School, Lilia Boudis of Mohammed VI University of Sciences and Health, Lina Berrada of Université Internationale de Casablanca and Lina Lahyane of Maastricht University.
Younes Slaoui, the school’s chief executive, said: “Our school was built around an educational community founded on trust, high standards and sharing. The creation of the Alumni Association gives this ambition a new dimension by allowing graduates to remain connected to their school, support one another and guide future generations. A school of excellence is also measured by the strength of the bonds it succeeds in building.”
Raphaël Spira, the school’s headteacher, said: “This success is the result of collective work carried out throughout the students’ education. I commend the commitment of our students, the support of their families and the daily dedication of our staff. Our greatest satisfaction is seeing these young people move forward with ambition, curiosity and confidence towards demanding higher education programmes.”
EFI Casablanca has campuses for primary and secondary students in the Casa Anfa district of Casablanca. The school teaches more than 2,300 students from over 40 nationalities. It is part of the Odyssey Education and works with the Agence pour l’Enseignement Français à l’Étranger. Students study in French and English, learn several foreign languages and can follow a programme leading to the American French International Baccalaureate.
