Emirates plans to double its daily flights between Dubai and Casablanca from February 2027, adding a second service to the route. The Dubai-based airline will introduce the new flight on 1 February, according to specialist aviation website Aeroroutes. The existing daily service, operated by an Airbus A380, will continue. A Boeing 777-200LR will operate the additional flight under flight numbers EK753 and EK754.
The new service will leave Dubai at 14:00 and arrive in Casablanca at 18:45. The return flight will leave Casablanca at 20:45 and reach Dubai at 08:15 the following day.
The existing A380 service leaves Dubai at 07:25 and arrives in Casablanca at 12:10. The return flight leaves Casablanca at 14:10 and arrives in Dubai at 01:40 the next day.
The new schedule has not yet opened for booking and could still change before February.
The move will increase capacity on one of Emirates’ links between the Gulf and North Africa. The airline is also planning a new daily direct service between Dubai and Kinshasa in the Democratic Republic of Congo from 3 February 2027.
The Kinshasa route is due to use a three-class Boeing 777-300ER.
Emirates has also expanded its codeshare agreement with South African Airways, adding connections to nine destinations in central and southern Africa.
The additional Casablanca flight comes as Morocco seeks to expand its tourism industry ahead of the 2030 Fifa World Cup, which it will co-host.
The extra service could also provide more connections for passengers travelling between Morocco and markets in Asia, the Middle East and beyond through Dubai.
The Boeing 777-200LR assigned to the new Casablanca service has 302 seats, compared with roughly 489 to 517 seats on the A380 currently used on the route.
The aircraft can also carry cargo in its hold, giving Emirates more capacity to move goods between Morocco and international markets.
