ENJOY AI: Moroccan teens shine at global AI and robotics finals in China

A group of Moroccan high school students made a remarkable debut on the international stage at the 2025 ENJOY AI World Finals, a major global competition in robotics and artificial intelligence held in Wuzhen, China. Competing for the first time, the young team not only stood out among participants from 34 countries but also secured podium finishes in an event that drew over a million contenders and set a new Guinness World Record for participation.

The Moroccan teams had earned their spot after excelling in the national edition of the competition, organized locally by Generation AI in partnership with Boti School. Their selection marked a milestone—this was the first time Morocco had been represented by robotics specialists at such a high-profile event in China.

Once in Wuzhen, the students faced a series of rigorous challenges that tested their skills in programming, engineering design, and technological innovation. The projects they presented caught the attention of international juries, who praised both the technical sophistication and creative approach of the young competitors.

Among the standout performers was the Kaizen Misty-Robotech team from the Kaizen School in Aïn Sebaâ, which earned the Smart Robot Design Award for the precision and reliability of its prototype. In the middle school division of the “Battle of Tribes” challenge, Agora Robotics captured second place, followed closely by Morocco Dreamers, who took third. These three awards not only highlight the students’ talent, but also signal Morocco’s growing presence in the world of advanced technology and AI.

For Generation AI and the competition’s organizers, the results underscore the rising potential of Moroccan youth in cutting-edge fields like artificial intelligence. But beyond academics and trophies, these international events offer something even more valuable: they give students a platform to hone essential life skills—problem-solving, teamwork, innovation under pressure—that will serve them well in future careers.

This impressive showing puts Morocco on the map in the global robotics and AI scene and signals the rise of a new generation of inventors and engineers ready to compete-and succeed-on the world stage.
