Ynexis Group is ushering in a bold new chapter. Formerly known as Yamed Group, this key player in Morocco’s real estate investment and development sector has rebranded, signaling an important step forward in its evolution.
Since its founding in 2013, Yamed had built a strong reputation as an independent leader in the market. Now, under its new name, Ynexis Group is doubling down on a comprehensive, integrated business model structured around three main pillars: real estate development, asset management, and hospitality. The new name “Ynexis” is drawn from the Latin word “Nexus,” meaning connection, reflecting the company’s ambition to link investors, communities, and expertise to create the urban landscapes of the future.
Despite the change, the well-established “Yamed” brand remains at the heart of the group’s real estate development activities. With a team of over 150 experts, Yamed oversees every stage of the real estate value chain, from design to sales. It boasts an impressive portfolio that includes standout projects like Terre Océane, Villas28, Amlak Bernoussi, and Résidence Mina—all of which highlight the group’s commitment to building inspiring, sustainable living spaces. The Metropolitan project in Casablanca, featuring Hilton hotels and a mix of residential and commercial spaces, showcases Ynexis’s integrated vision in action.
Ynexis Investment Management currently oversees more than 17 billion dirhams in assets, managing strategic investments across healthcare, education, office spaces, and hospitality sectors. Operating in Casablanca, Rabat, Tangier, and Marrakech, this division is driven by a commitment to excellence, transparency, and ambition, aiming to lead the way in the smart financialization of real estate to support sustainable development.
The group’s expansion into the hospitality sector is equally ambitious. Ynexis is developing a series of Hilton-branded 4- and 5-star hotels in Casablanca and Rabat. Additionally, its partnership with the Moma Group is set to transform Morocco’s dining and entertainment landscape, with nine upscale venues slated to open across Casablanca and Rabat by 2026. This growth is further supported by initiatives like Twenty Campus Morocco, with the first student residence at Casa Anfa scheduled to welcome students for the 2025-2026 academic year.
Looking ahead to 2030, as Morocco strives to cement its place among the world’s major economies, Ynexis Group is positioning itself as a proactive force, ready to anticipate urban transformations and invest with a long-term, sustainable vision. Their guiding mission, “Shift the lines,” encapsulates their drive to spark change and help shape a bold, connected, and resilient Morocco.
