Morocco will host the fourth GITEX AFRICA from 7 to 9 April, bringing together government leaders, businesses, startups, investors, and researchers to talk about Africa’s digital future.

This year’s theme, “Boosting Africa’s Digital Economy in the Age of Artificial Intelligence”, focuses on building a strong and sustainable digital economy across the continent.

Organisers say the event will help improve digital policies and spread solutions that can make a real difference in Africa. It is part of the Digital for Sustainable Development Hub (D4SD), a project run by Morocco’s Ministry of Digital Transition and Administrative Reform with the UN Development Programme (UNDP).

The conference is organised by Morocco’s Digital Development Agency (ADD) and KAOUN International, part of the Dubai World Trade Centre. Minister Amal El Fallah Seghrouchni said the aim is to use digital tools to drive development while improving people’s everyday lives and supporting sustainable growth.

GITEX AFRICA also say the event will encourage cross-border cooperation, speed up the rollout of useful digital solutions, and make Africa’s economy stronger for the future.
