Head of Government, Saad Dine El Otmani called, Thursday, for greater compliance with preventive and precautionary measures taken in the fight against the novel coronavirus (Covid-19).
Speaking at the weekly meeting of the Government Council, El Otmani stressed the improvement of the epidemiological situation in Morocco especially after the launch by King Mohammed VI of the national immunization campaign, which is progressing satisfactorily.
Quoted in a statement issued at the end of the Council, he highlighted the progress recorded in the number of people vaccinated despite the difficulties related to the availability of vaccines at the international level, expressing his thanks to all the administrations concerned that ensure the availability of the vaccine and the success of the vaccination campaign.
The Head of Government also noted that the increase in the number of citizens vaccinated, which is close to 10 million, goes hand in hand with the improvement of the epidemiological situation in terms of the number of active and critical cases, as well as fatalities that are stable.
