In the 2025 edition of the Brand Africa 100, Morocco’s Best Brands ranking, telecom operator inwi emerged as one of the event’s standout performers, claiming four major awards that reflect both its consumer appeal and its broader social impact.
Among the key distinctions, inwi was named the Most Admired Moroccan Telecom Brand, and more notably, the Most Admired Moroccan Brand Across All Categories. These accolades were based on an open, ended survey of 1,000 Moroccans, who named their favorite brands without prompts, making inwi’s recognition a genuine reflection of public sentiment.
The company also stood out for its corporate responsibility efforts, receiving the title of Most Committed Brand to Society and the Environment. This award acknowledges inwi’s proactive role in addressing social and environmental challenges through a range of initiatives. Rounding out its achievements, the operator was honored with the Brand Africa, Elevate Grand Prize, a prestigious recognition that highlights brands with significant cultural resonance and positive influence across the continent.
The broader Brand Africa 100 study spans 31 African countries and captures the voices of over 10,000 consumers, covering approximately 85% of the continent’s population. The survey’s unprompted approach offers a rare, unfiltered look at the brands that truly live in the public’s imagination—those that resonate beyond advertising and leave a lasting impact.
inwi’s strong performance in this ranking reaffirms the success of its long-term strategy, which positions digital technology as a tool for inclusion and progress. The company has made a name for itself not just in telecom services, but as a catalyst for social change, launching and supporting initiatives in education, entrepreneurship, gaming, volunteering, and national football. This alignment of business goals with community needs is at the core of inwi’s approach to responsible innovation.
Through its new brand signature, “Sir B3id”, which loosely translates to “Move Forward”, inwi continues to position itself as a brand that empowers individuals. The message is clear: technology should not only connect people but also help them take charge of their future, overcome obstacles, and unlock their potential.
inwi’s recognition at Brand Africa 100 marks more than a marketing milestone, it underscores a deeper connection with the Moroccan public and a growing influence that extends well beyond telecom.
