Jet Contractors has been awarded the contract by the National Agency for Public Equipment (ANEP) to carry out the exterior development works of the Mohammed V Sports Complex in Casablanca. The contract is valued at 69,109,388.40 dirhams, including taxes.
This decision follows a restricted call for tenders (AOR No. 23/AOR/2024/STADES) launched on June 19, 2024, with bids opened on July 1, 2024. After evaluating the administrative and technical dossiers, five companies were admitted to present a financial offer. Jet Contractors was selected for their compliance with the provisions of articles 5 and 15 of the consultation regulations.
This significant project is part of a broader initiative to modernize national sports infrastructures, supported by a total budget of 20 billion dirhams. The aim is to prepare Morocco to host major international sporting events, such as the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations and potentially the 2030 World Cup.
The Mohammed V Sports Complex renovation is a key component of Morocco’s ambitious plan to upgrade its sports facilities. This extensive modernization program is crucial for the country’s aspirations to host prominent international sports competitions.
The tender process was highly competitive, with five companies being shortlisted based on their administrative and technical capabilities. Jet Contractors’ proposal stood out for its adherence to the stringent criteria outlined in the tender documents, ultimately securing them the contract.
Abdeslam Alaoui, CEO of Jet Contractors, expressed his enthusiasm for the project: “We are honored to be selected for this prestigious project. Our team is committed to delivering world-class facilities that will not only enhance the sports infrastructure but also boost Morocco’s profile as a host for international sporting events.”
