Attijari highlights Label Vie’s bold expansion and strategic shift

Label’Vie is set to gather its shareholders on June 26 in Skhirat for its annual general meeting, amid strong financial performance and notable changes in the company’s leadership. The meeting will begin at 10 a.m. at the group’s administrative headquarters.

One of the key agenda items will be the review and approval of the company’s financial statements for the fiscal year ending December 31, 2024. Label’Vie reported a net profit exceeding 153 million dirhams for the year. Shareholders will examine both the standalone and consolidated financial summaries, along with reports from the board of directors and the statutory auditors.

A vote will also be held on how to allocate the year’s earnings. The board is recommending a total dividend payout of 320 million dirhams, which includes a special bonus of 27.47 million dirhams drawn from the share premium account. This supplement would top up the distribution based on the annual net profit.

Changes to the company’s board of directors will also be formalized during the session. The departures of Gilles De Clerck and Karim A. Souaid will be acknowledged, with their resignations taking effect in September and August 2024, respectively. The assembly will officially recognize their exit and grant them discharge for their term of service.

To fill their seats, the board is nominating two new members: Hassan Laaziri and Khalid Ziane. If approved, their mandates will run until the shareholders convene to review the financials for the fiscal year 2031—a six-year term.

Other resolutions on the agenda include the approval of regulated agreements as outlined by corporate law, as well as the formal discharge of board members and auditors.

Shareholders wishing to participate must present the necessary documentation. For those unable to attend in person, a mail-in voting option is available. The relevant form can be obtained at the company’s headquarters or downloaded online, provided it is submitted within the specified deadline.
