Logisolutions inaugurated Morocco’s first high-rise warehouse in the Aïn Sbaâ-Sidi Bernoussi industrial zone in Casablanca on Wednesday, marking a major step forward for the country’s logistics sector. This state-of-the-art facility, built on a 15,000 m² plot (10,500 m² of which is covered), stands over 20 meters tall and offers 25,000 pallet spaces on 18-meter-high racks, along with 16 loading docks.
During the inauguration ceremony, Ghassane El Machrfi, Director General of the Moroccan Agency for Logistics Development (AMDL), highlighted that this project is one of the investments supported by his agency. The facility, named “LogisSolutions New York,” was awarded “Logistics Real Estate of the Year” at the 7th edition of the Moroccan Logistics Trophies (MLA 2024). El Machrfi emphasized the importance of private sector involvement in developing Morocco’s logistics infrastructure, encouraging operators to actively contribute to the success of the national logistics strategy.
He reiterated AMDL’s commitment to enhancing national competitiveness through logistics, positioning it as a key driver of economic growth. El Machrfi also mentioned the agency’s ongoing projects across Morocco, including the development of logistics zones, with plans to cover 750 hectares by 2028.
Amine Benkirane, CEO of Logisolutions, expressed the importance of this high-rise warehouse in addressing customer needs by significantly increasing storage capacity. He explained that high-rise racks are the best solution for optimizing the building’s space.
Founded in 2018, Logisolutions is a Moroccan leader in logistics solutions, specializing in consumer goods management, with services spanning transportation and warehousing for industries such as manufacturing, fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG), and distribution.
The event was attended by several key figures, including Nabil Kharoubi, Governor of the Sidi Bernoussi districts, as well as numerous entrepreneurs and logistics professionals.
