Maroc Telecom Group and Visa signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on Tuesday, establishing a global cooperation framework to expand digital payments and financial inclusion in Morocco and across the Group’s African subsidiaries.
The partnership kicks off with MT Cash, Maroc Telecom’s Mobile Money solution, which will integrate Visa’s payment services. Users will soon be able to make secure digital payments, transfer money, and pay merchants directly through their mobile wallets.
This strategic alliance aims to broaden access to digital financial services, accelerate Africa’s digital transformation, and deliver tailored payment solutions for underserved populations. It aligns with Maroc Telecom’s innovation-driven strategy and its commitment to building strong technological partnerships.
