Maroc Telecom had more than 77 million subscribers at the end of the first half of 2026, up 2.9% from a year earlier as its customer base grew in Morocco and across its Moov Africa subsidiaries.
The company said the increase came from “the growth of both the Moov Africa subsidiaries’ subscriber base and the mobile broadband subscriber base in Morocco.”
Its mobile network in Morocco served nearly 18.52 million customers at the end of June. The fixed-line business had around 1.63 million subscribers, while the broadband customer base topped 1.41 million.
Operations outside Morocco continued to account for most of the group’s subscribers. Côte d’Ivoire had the largest mobile customer base with 12.942 million subscribers, followed by Burkina Faso (8.434 million), Chad (7.725 million), Mali (7.149 million), Benin (4.744 million), Niger (4.697 million), Togo (4.411 million), Mauritania (2.767 million), Gabon (1.617 million) and the Central African Republic (448,000).
The group’s international fixed-line business had 308,000 subscribers. Mali accounted for 153,000, while Burkina Faso and Gabon each had 74,000. Mauritania had 7,000 fixed-line customers.
