Maroc Telecom reported consolidated revenue of 28.682 billion dirhams ($3.1 billion) for the first nine months of 2026, up 5.1% from the same period a year earlier, driven by growth in Morocco and stronger performance from its African subsidiaries. The group said in a statement that growth in Morocco was supported by increased data usage and a larger customer base for data services, alongside a positive contribution from its Moov Africa subsidiaries.
In Morocco, revenue from mobile and fixed-line services reached 14.332 billion dirhams by the end of September, an annual increase of 2.7%.
International operations generated revenue of 15.177 billion dirhams over the nine-month period, up 6.9% year on year.
Mobile data, fixed internet and mobile money remained the main drivers of international growth, rising by 10.4%, 16.8% and 18.8%, respectively.
Maroc Telecom said it had maintained strong commercial momentum and resilient operating performance as of the end of September, despite a changing business environment and higher operating costs, particularly energy costs.
The company said operational discipline and cost control had helped preserve profitability. It also maintained investment in high-speed mobile and fixed-line infrastructure to meet growing demand for data services and develop new sources of growth.
The group’s strategy includes continued deployment of shared infrastructure under partnerships in Morocco and expansion of its subsidiaries, particularly in high-speed internet and mobile money services.
“Building on solid fundamentals and an enhanced cash-generation capacity, Maroc Telecom is stepping up its efforts and continuing to implement its strategy of creating sustainable value for its customers, partners and shareholders,” the company said.
