Marrakech is set to become the epicenter of fashion on October 24 as it welcomes the grand finale of the prestigious Fashion Trust Arabia (FTA). Founded by Sheikha Moza and Sheikha Al Mayassa, this remarkable event is designed to spotlight emerging fashion talents from the Arab world. A star-studded list of international celebrities, including Isabelle Huppert, Natalia Vodianova, Coco Rocha, Carla Bruni, and Naomi Campbell, will be in attendance, adding an extra touch of glamour to the occasion.
This year, the event is organized in partnership with the Years of Culture initiative, marking the Qatar-Morocco 2024 Year of Culture. The FTA has shortlisted 18 promising finalists from the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region, who will compete for seven awards in various fashion categories. Among them are two Moroccan designers, Hamza Guelmouss & Valentin Nicot and Jihane Boumediane, vying for top honors in the eveningwear and accessories categories, respectively.
The Years of Culture initiative, which focuses on fostering international cultural exchange between Qatar and other nations, aims to promote mutual respect and deeper intercultural understanding, making the FTA finale a fitting celebration of diversity and creativity.
