After an extensive renovation, the Marriott Fès Jnan Palace is unveiling a new chapter, blending its rich architectural heritage with modern hospitality. Located in the heart of Fès, the redesigned hotel draws inspiration from the city’s cultural legacy while incorporating contemporary elements, reflecting a seamless fusion of tradition and innovation.

One of the most striking transformations is the hotel’s lobby, entirely redesigned by architect Paul Sartres. More than just a passageway, this space has been reimagined as an immersive experience, where contemporary furnishings coexist with traditional craftsmanship. The use of authentic materials enhances its unique ambiance, while a newly introduced lobby bar elevates the guest experience with a refined selection of teas and pastries, adding a sensory dimension to the welcome.

The hotel now also features a new commercial and cultural space, housing boutiques and artisanal shops. Among them, Glam Corner is dedicated to beauty and wellness, Swiss Arabian showcases the art of Oriental perfumery, and Calirra, a high-end jeweler, presents exclusive creations that merge Moroccan and Parisian influences.

At the heart of the renovation is the Patio Andalous, a central courtyard where traditional craftsmanship meets contemporary design. Local artisans played a key role in shaping this space, adorning it with intricate moucharabiehs, colorful zellige tiles, and hand-carved ceilings, all paying homage to the centuries-old artistry of Fès’ medina.

The outdoor spaces, crafted under the direction of Akram El Harraqui, further enhance this immersive experience. A lush, landscaped walkway now connects the lobby to the pool, offering guests a tranquil retreat amid the city’s vibrancy.

Adding to its offerings, the hotel introduces two new signature lounges. The Croon Lounge presents a selection of cocktails inspired by local flavors, complemented by a curated lineup of live contemporary music. Meanwhile, the EME Lounge provides an intimate, upscale setting featuring a premium collection of whiskies and cigars, evoking the ambiance of elite international private clubs.

This transformation aligns with a broader trend in luxury hospitality, where integrating local heritage into modern tourism becomes a defining feature. By preserving tradition while meeting the evolving expectations of today’s travelers, the Marriott Fès Jnan Palace is redefining sophisticated Moroccan hospitality, positioning itself as a landmark where history and modernity coexist in perfect harmony.
