Mauritian group Netis Holding Ltd is making a decisive move into Morocco’s renewable energy sector, securing a majority stake in two solar-focused companies. The deal gives Netis a 70% share in Adiwatt Afrique SARL and its subsidiary Spadi 1 SARL AU, granting the group full operational control of both entities.
Headquartered in Casablanca, Adiwatt Afrique specializes in the supply, installation, and maintenance of photovoltaic systems. The company has carved out a niche by offering solar solutions tailored to Morocco’s energy landscape. Spadi 1, based in the Tanger Free Zone, focuses on solar power generation, further strengthening Netis Holding’s entry into the local market.
This acquisition marks a strategic foothold for Netis Holding in a country actively transitioning toward clean energy. By integrating two complementary operations—one geared toward solar infrastructure and the other toward energy production—the Mauritian group positions itself as a long-term player in Morocco’s booming green energy sector.
Netis Holding is known for its aggressive growth-through-acquisition strategy, and this latest move reflects its commitment to expanding its presence in the renewable space. The takeover also adds a critical piece to the company’s solar value chain, aligning with its broader vision of becoming a regional leader in sustainable energy.
As Morocco ramps up investments in energy efficiency and clean production, this deal gives Netis not only a strong platform in a fast-growing market but also a strategic edge in a region where demand for solar solutions is accelerating rapidly.
