The MEDays Forum Foundation and the Amadeus Institute have officially opened registrations for the 16th edition of the MEDays International Forum, set to take place from November 27 to 30, 2024, in Tangier. The event will be held under the High Patronage of His Majesty King Mohammed VI.
This year’s forum, themed “Sovereignties and Resilience: Towards a New Global Balance,” will delve into critical issues surrounding national sovereignty and resilience in the face of global crises.
For the first time, the prestigious Palais des Arts et de la Culture in Tangier, located on Avenue Mohammed VI at Corniche Malabata, will host the event. The discussions will cover vital topics such as energy transition and sovereignty, food security, cybersecurity and digital resilience, technological innovation, and the evolving geopolitical landscape shaped by multiple crises and a fragmented international order.
The 2024 MEDays Forum will place a particular emphasis on Africa and its role in a multipolar world. The forum will explore ways to strengthen national sovereignty and foster shared resilience across the continent.
Additionally, the MEDays Investment Summit (MIS), an operational forum within the larger event, will kick off the opening day. This summit will bring together policymakers, economic leaders, international investors, and experts to discuss investment opportunities in Africa and emerging markets.
The official agenda and a list of confirmed speakers for the 16th edition are available on the event’s website. The forum is expected to feature more than 250 renowned speakers, including Heads of State and Government, ministers, international experts, and business leaders. Over 6,000 participants from more than 100 countries are anticipated to attend.
Participants will have access to 50 sessions and roundtables spread across four days of discussions. Registration is required for entry, with accreditation being mandatory. Interested attendees can sign up online through the provided link.
