Morocco Royal Tour returns with global prestige and local pride

The Morocco Royal Tour is set to make a high-profile return this fall with its 14th edition, once again held under the patronage of His Majesty King Mohammed VI. This year’s tour reaffirms its mission: to establish Morocco as a key player on the global show jumping stage. Three cities—Tétouan, Rabat, and El Jadida—will host a series of elite competitions that blend world-class sport with meticulous organization and deep local roots.

Running from September 18 to October 5, 2025, the circuit will bring together top riders from across the international equestrian scene. The calendar includes three CSI1* Grand Prix events, two CSI4*-W stages, and the celebrated Nations Cup, highlighting just how far the Morocco Royal Tour has come in elevating its status within the international show jumping circuit.

The competition kicks off in Tétouan at the Royal Guard venue, a fitting start that underscores the tour’s prestige. From there, it moves to the capital, Rabat, where the CSIO4*-W event at Dar Es Salam will feature the Nations Cup, one of the most anticipated team events of the year. The final leg will take place in El Jadida as part of the Salon du Cheval, culminating in the Grand Prix of His Majesty King Mohammed VI.

Among the riders expected this year are some of Morocco’s top equestrian talents, alongside global names like Italy’s Emanuele Gaudiano, Belgium’s Jérôme Guery, and Saudi Arabia’s Khaled Almobty. With competitors representing around 30 countries, the Morocco Royal Tour continues to draw increasing international attention and prestige.

Organized by the Morocco Royal Tour Foundation, the event benefits from a robust logistical framework and internationally recognized expertise. Beyond the sport itself, the tour serves as a powerful vehicle for showcasing Morocco’s equestrian heritage, blending athletic excellence with cultural pride and international outreach.
