Morocco is working more closely with global engineering and tech consulting company ALTEN to boost its industry and technology.
The country’s Industry and Trade Minister, Riad Mezzour, met ALTEN’s founder and chairman, Simon Azulay, during his visit to Morocco. They talked about ways to support the country’s industrial growth.
The meeting focused on matching Morocco’s innovation and skills goals with ALTEN’s know-how. ALTEN Morocco is the company’s hub in Africa and handles big international projects.
Azulay praised Morocco’s industrial vision under King Mohammed VI and highlighted the skills of local engineers, who are gaining international recognition for their work on complex projects.
ALTEN said it will continue investing in Morocco, including training engineers, sharing expertise, and connecting Moroccan talent to global projects.
The company has offices in Rabat, Casablanca, and Fez, helping Morocco move from simple manufacturing to high-tech engineering and research. Its centres support big clients like Boeing, Airbus, and major car makers.
This partnership fits Morocco’s 2024–2030 industrial plan, which aims to increase local content in manufacturing and strengthen the country’s role in global supply chains.
ALTEN Morocco plans to hire more engineers in the coming years.
