The 1st Dhu al-Hijjah of the year 1442 AH corresponds to Monday, July 12, 2021 and Eid Al Adha will be celebrated on Wednesday, July 21, the ministry of Endowments and Islamic Affairs announced Saturday.
In a statement, the ministry said that the lunar crescent announcing the month of Dhu al-Hijjah of 1442 AH was not observed on Saturday evening (July 10) and therefore Eid Al Adha will be celebrated on 10 Dhu al-Hijjah 1442 corresponding to 21 July 2021.
