Morocco will be the proud host of the 2025 FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup, scheduled to take place from October 17 to November 8, 2025, according to an announcement made by FIFA on Thursday.

The decision was revealed following a FIFA Council meeting held in Zurich. Back in March, FIFA granted Morocco the privilege of organizing the next five editions of the U-17 Women’s World Cup, from 2025 through 2029.

This selection further highlights FIFA’s recognition of Morocco’s growing reputation as a hub for hosting major international sports events. The Kingdom’s sports strategy, which includes top-notch infrastructure, accommodations, and logistics, has made it a reliable partner for high-profile tournaments.

The 2025 edition marks a significant milestone for the competition, as it will now feature 24 teams and will be held annually starting from that year.
